Jonathan focuses on advising established private investment funds, investment management institutions, emerging fund managers, investors, and other high net worth individuals on corporate, restructuring and tax issues.  He began his career in the Business Finance & Restructuring Group of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, an international law firm based in New York City where he focused on the representation of large chapter debtors in energy, mass torts, and telecom bankruptcy.  He has worked on matters involving professional sports and represented clients in state and federal courts around the country. He also has extensive experiencing clients (domestic & international) in corporate and tax issues both onshore and offshore.  Jonathan believes in solving issues from an economic perspective, blending legal, business, financial, and policy views into his solutions and representations.  

Jonathan has also taken courses at the Stern School of Business at New York University in areas such as mergers ands acquisitions, investment banking, private equity, valuation techniques, and financial modeling.  He has also completed an executive education program in financial markets at the Yale School of Management.  He was a member of the Graduate Finance Society at Stern.  Through education and experience,  Jonathan knows the business of investment management as well as the legal side.   Jonathan is also the founder of The Argentarii Group a business designed to help his existing and new clients with qualitative and quantitative insight into the legal and non-legal issues that face them and assist in capital raising efforts for various businesses around the world.

Jonathan has lived and worked on the East Coast of the United States in places, such as New York, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Charlotte, and most of Florida.  Jonathan believes that truly exceptional people, whether they are financially successful or not, are also principled people who live by a code of honor and possess great character and ethics as well as great skill.  These are the clients and legal personnel Jonathan looks for when establishing any relationship.
